Rejuvenate in one of China's most liveable coastal cities.
Dalian is often referred to as the ‘Hong Kong of the North’. While the comparison is flattering, it fails to capture the charm of this one-of-a-kind city. Dalian is a laid-back and refreshing place to visit, complete with tree-lined streets, an enviable coastline and delightfully little traffic – all of which combine to make this one of China’s most liveable cities. In the city’s cosmopolitan core, diners enjoy traditional hotpots alongside a variety of international cuisine – particularly Japanese and Korean fare. Adding contrast are clusters of colonial architecture that date to periods of Russian and Japanese occupation.
